Perhaps one of the greatest "Fiascos" in the History of America is "Prohibition" in general... and especially "Marijuana/Hemp Prohibition". It's simply Amazing that a Country can have such a Significant Lesson taught to them in one period of their History (Alcohol Prohibition)... and then to relatively have the "Exact Same Lesson" taught to them again... and in the "Same Century". Actually, the Repeat of the Pathological Stupidity was only one Generation apart.

For all practical purposes here... We are talking about "Social Insanity"! We are talking about "Social Mediocrity" taken to the extreme! If the Reality of it all wasn't so Tragic... it would be one of the Greatest Comedy of Errors in the History of Humanity. But still... the Medicine Show goes on... and the American Public actually Tolerates this Madness. Go Figure!?!?

How something "So Simple" could become "So Complex" is an Epic Tale in and of itself. The Product of Propaganda, Misinformation and Bold Lies... along with Political and Corporate Corruption... has left the American People (and Indeed the World) with a Jokers Face plastered with "Fools Pie". Considering that the Con also included the Criminalization of "Industrial Hemp" makes the Scam on Civilization even more Embarrassing for the American Public. Granted... We All were kept in the Dark by a Complicit Government, Corporate Corruption and Deluded Social Institutions... but the Idiocy of it all is so Obvious... that "No One" claiming to be a Sane and Socially Responsible American Citizen can entirely Remove Themselves from Ultimate Blame in this Century Long Rape on Truth, Justice and Basic Human Rights... Not to mention "Human and Environmental Interests".

1937: Thanks to a fear campaign backed by William Randolph Hearst, Andrew Mellon, the Rockefellers, and other bigwigs with vested interests in petroleum, the Marijuana Tax Act is passed, imposing a tax on marijuana and hemp. Hemp, one of Ford's pet fuels, is doomed.

In 1928, nine years before cannabis prohibition began, US Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis wrote of our constitutional right to be let alone in the case of Olmstead v. U.S.:
